1a) They put in thier (SP) whole effort and strength to row thier boat. ('Effort" already used in the Q. Choose another word.)

Corrected- They put in thier best shot to row thier boat.

 

1b) They squinted as they could not watch the race properly due to the reflected rays from the sun on the water. (OK)

 

1c) The villagers were anxious and excited about the race. (Good)

 

2) The result would not be fair as each of the judge would be biased towards thier village, claiming that they won the race, arguements then occurs. (In what situation will the results be unfair? Elaborate on that.)

Corrected- Under draw situation, both the judges will claim that thier village representative of the competition won the race.

 

3) There will not be any winners for the race and arguements or even fights would then break out between the two judges. (The Q asks you what had happened, not what will.)

Corrected- Arguements and fights broke out between the two opponents.

 

4a) The word is 'altercation'.

4b) The gentleman uses the eku to create a whirlwind cloud of sand by swinging it on the sand in a circular motion. (Interesting answer - perhaps not swinging it on the sand but ...)

4c) The whirlwind cloud of sand entered(another word?) the eyes of the people at the centre of the uncontrolled mass, it blocked thier vision and chocked (SP) them. (Try again.)

Corrected- The whirlwind cloud of sand

4d) He used the eku to throw sands (sand is always singular.) at the rowers who are(Tense) fighting.

4e) The gentleman manage to stop the fight without him engaging in the fight itself. (Good answer. What else?)

 

5) The author meant he hopes(T) that the practitioners of the martial arts, the wielder of the weapon to know its immense power to disable permanently or kill, but he merely chooses not to do so, just like the old gentleman. (SS - rephrase)

6) Many martial artistes regard martial sports as a enjoyable yet useless (please - try not to pass negative comments like that.)excerise but also regard martial arts as an effective (???)

for self-defence, fighting or combat. (Your answer is rather confusing. Can you simplify it?)
