Counting down to Olevels everyday is like a nightmare to me. I have only got 116 days left and I have barely done any revision for my subjects. The June holidays is not really a holiday to me and my class. We have to come back to school almost every day for extra lessons. The remaining time left at home, I will have to do the past years papers given by my respective subject teachers. It was weary doing the papers and at the end of the day, I can say that nothing is left in me except the energy to climb to my bed and waiting to enter my dreamland where there are no books and school. But I will rather go to school than stay at home. I will want to cherish the time left in school and also cherish the time I spend with my friends. Like what i always think to myself, "Going to school is not purely taking in knowledge but it is also a time to have fun and laugh along with my friends."
Comments :
Glad that you realise time is running out for you. That will give you the added push.
Some errors in grammar and structure where your writing is concerned. Work on that and on improving the quality of your writing.
A short 2-3 paragraphs of an author whose writing style I like
Another time, Aunt Petunia had been trying to force him into a revolting old jumper of Dudley's. The harder she tried to pull it over his head, the smaller it seemed to become, until finally it might have fitted a glove puppet, but certainly wouldn't fit Harry. Aunt Petunia had decided it must have shrunk in the wash and, to his great relief, Harry wasn't punished.
On the other hand, he had got into terrible trouble for being found on the roof of the school kitchens. Dudley's gang had been chasing him as usual when, as much to Harry's surprise as anyone else's, there he was sitting on the chimney. The Dursley's had recieved a very angry letter from Harry's headmistress telling them Harry had been climbing school buildings. But all he had tried to do was jump behind the big bins outside the kitchen doors. Harry supposed that the wind must have caught him in mid-jump.
But today, nothing was going to go wrong. It was even worth being with Dudley and Piers to be spending the day somewhere that wasn't school, his cupboard or Mrs Figg's cabbage-smelling living room.

November 2004 Paper 1
2. Write about an occasion when a serious argument took place, based on a case of mistaken identity.
I was at the bus-stop waiting for Jane to arrive. Last night, we had decided to meet up as we did not contact each other for a few months. While thinking about how we should spent our time today, crowds of people were rushing past me to board the bus. Bus after bus came, but still I did not see Jane anywhere. I was starting to get anxious and nervous. I started lookng around to spot for any sign of her. Then I saw the familiar long straight hair which run down Jane's shoulders. It was her. Feeling excited, I quicken my pace and ran towards her.
I gave her a friendly pat on her back. Then I hooked her arm and walked with her to the bus stop. I was so excited by the thought that she had came to meet me and started questioning her. I asked her questions like how have she been and what have she been doing over the past few months. Without even giving her time to respond, I continue blabbering away. When I finished talking, I noticed that she was not speaking at all. This was really unlike her noisy personality.
Worried about her, I turned towards her. She let go of my arm and said: "Miss, I think you have got the wrong person. My name is not Jane. I am Jelynn. You are really mistaken." I thought Jane was playing a prank on me so I said: "Jane, you are still as childish as ever. I am sure you are Jane." She kept telling me that she is not Jane. Angry that she was getting overboard with her jokes, I shouted at her. We got into a serious argument and soon, we were surrounded by a group of people. "Renee!" Someone was calling me. I thought it was someone else with the same name as me being called by their friends so I ignored it.
The shouting persisted for a while. I continue ignoring it and involved myself back into the heated argument with Jane. Then, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around. To my surprise, I saw Jane. Jane said: "Sorry Renee. I have been caught in a traffic jam. Sorry that I am late." I was shocked. This was the real Jane who was supposed to meet me. "So who was this girl that I have been talking to?", I thought to myself. And alas I realised that I have mistook the girl for Jane. I felt so embarrassed and I immediately apologised to her. She said it was alright and told me to identify the correct person next time. I nodded my head vigorously. Then, the crowd dispersed. I told Jane all about it and she asked me how in the world did I mistook the girl for her when we have been friends for five years. I ponder for a while then I replied her:"I guess this incident was a case of mistaken identity."
