Seriously my mind is blank at this instant. Just by staring at this empty page, I cannot really think of any topics to 'squeeze' out. All I know is I am on the brink of insanity with a lunatic right beside me, staring into blank space. He cant think of any topics to write while everyone is putting great effort. Pain in the neck, hilarious, drowsy, immatured are the words just right for him. He is a classmate of mine since I was secondary one. Being one of my good friends, we always hang out together in a big group. Playing a fool, or rather making a fool , joking around and causing trouble. It's a bliss we ought to cherish.

Since we are good friends, we like to hang out together and have a good time, and unfortunately causing problems at times.

Sometimes I paused, I came to a realization. Perhaps I have played too hard. Being in last year in secondary school, facing one of the major examinations in my life. I know I should have started studying long ago. But I was not really those extremely studious and hardworking type. Sometimes I tried but in vain. My parents had quite high expectations on me, although he never said. I know. One and a half month is all I have got. Seemed long but time just flies. Seriously I dont read books and I never like to. And I wonder if my english will ever get better.

Unfortunately, your writing shows that you do not read enough too. I can see that you try hard and that is good. You have a tendency to put the latter part of a sentence in the front. Too many times and it spoils your writing. But don't worry, there's still hope yet.

Two paragraphs from favourite author

"Oh my god, I cant breathe," Blair gasped dramatically. She hugged one of her stepbrother Aaron's barley-husk-filled bed pillows against her stomach. "I'm going to throw up"

I wouldn't be the first time.

"Calm down," serena advised, arranging two little piles of white, cream and manila envelopes on top pf Aaron's egg-plant-coloured hemp bedspeard.her instincts in the park had been dead accurate blair was simply way too competitive to be civilized about the whole thing .

I cannot relate your plan to your title. Which part talks about "Running Away" or even relates remotely to the title? You have to be clearer and not make the reader assume for you. Based on the aove plan, I would say that you have written out of topic.

Someone, someone amidst the crowd was watching her, her every move. A shadow was creeping somewhere, getting nearer and nearer to her. She could not shake off the queasy feeling of being stalked. Her instinct got her feet walking faster and even almost running. Anna scrambled out of the shopping mall carrying several shopping bags in both tremulous hands. She was breaking out into cold sweats. Every drop of the sweat made her muscles even more tensed. She stopped for a moment to catch her breath and with a slight move, she looked from the corner of her left eye. Then she turned her whole body back and heaved with a sigh of relief. There was no shadow. I must have been paranoid, Anna thought. She let out an assured smile.

Anna felt a shadow looming behind her. Moreover, the evening sun which was shining from the back made the shadow stand even taller. She tried to run but was held back by a hand. This hand made her feel a shiver down her spine as she turned back to face the person. In front of Anna, stood a haggard woman, with unkempt hair, and bloodshot eyes staring straight into hers. She was not cordial. Her face grew bitter and the next moment she seized Anna by her shoulders and shoke her so hard that her shopping bags dropped to the ground.

"Tell me why! He is lying in there! You caused his pathetic plight! " She said tearfully. She tightened her grip so hard that Anna began to groan. Anna tried to push her away but in vain. The woman's fists were clenched tightly on her shirt. " I would never allow you to take him away. NO MORE!" she screamed her lungs out. The next moment, she broke down and fell to the ground, pulling Anna down too.

The commotion had already aroused many bystanders. Anna felt lost and disoriented. She did not know what to do next, who was this crazy woman who popped up of nowhere and creating this scene. "No, I am not Ashley. Let go!" Anna yelled. After much struggling and explaining, she was exasperated. ""Let go of me. Who are you?" Anna said vaguely, her voice still trembling. The woman was mad, shouting and pulling Anna back and forth. "You are Ashley, there is no mistake!" She said firmly. Just then, something dropped out of her pocket during the struggle. A wallet landed on the ground with its side up. A faded yellowish photograph with in it caught my attention. It was a picture of a man and the woman. The man... looked so familiar...So familiar.

"Brother in law? Ashley? Sister ?" Anna was baffled. By then two security guards had already seized her by both thin arms and kept her a distance away from Anna. " I am sorry that she have startled you, she escaped from the Mental Institution you see." One of the man said apologetically. The woman was still kicking hard, screaming away, trying to break free. Soon, her screams diminished in the distance and the commotion ended.

Anna took out her wallet and look at it and let out a long sigh. Her eyes were blurred with tears as she clasped the photograph close to her heart. She then recollected the sad past memories. The dreadful car accident which left her twin sister dead, and her brother-in-law in coma. Just then it struck -me -her, the woman was my brother-in-law's ex-wife whom could not get over him after their divorce.

Li Jun:Good range of vocab you have and your story brought me right into the essence of it - the excitement and stuff. About the last paragraph, the photo that Anna was holding, I thought it was the photo of her brother-in-law only, not Anna's brother-in-law and Ashley. So I thought that Anna was having an affair with her brother-in-law xD 'cause she cried and held it close to her chest. Maybe, describe the photo?
Geraldine:Your writing is not bad. I was quite surprised when I read it. Anyway, at the last sentence, you suddenly switched to your own point of view instead of Anna's. In one of the parts, Anna suddenly said she was not Ashley. But where did that come from? How did Anna know? You need to fix these parts. ^^
