After my Mid-year results. It seemed as if the whole world collapsed infornt of me. I was so disappointed. I did somethings that I should not have done after that. But now I have learnt my mistakes. I am so happy that i had parents, teachers and friends for me when I needed them the most. Never allow the obstacles you faced to obstruct your life. This verse has really helped me in many ways. I am not going to allow my past bother me in anyway anymore. I have started to prepare for my o level already. I have confidence on myself that I can do well in my o level. And head on with my destination which I have already engraved in my heart. There is another verse also I always keep in my mind. Never look down on anyone just because they are not as good as you, there will always be a time that they will get a chance to look down you. Alot of people looked down on me just because i did'nt do well for my Mid-year. I know that I will also get a chance to look down on them. But i will not do the same mistake they did. I will rather help them in all the ways I can help. For today onwards my only aim is to do well in my o level to make my parents proud.

All over our tiny island are shopping malls. Singapore is famous for its shopping malls. They are more then 20 shopping malls in our country. One of the large shopping malls Singaporeans and tourist love to go in Singapore is VIVO CITY. Vivo City was built on the site of the exhibition halls of the former World Trade Centre, now the Harbour Front Centre. Vivo City has 1.5 million square feet of gross floor area and 1.1 million square feet of retail space. It was designed by the renowned Japanese architect Toyo Ito.The shopping mall opened officially on December 1, 2006 after its soft launch on October 7 that same year. The official opening included a six minute fireworks display, a concert by American band String Theory for the general public, and a Stefanie Sun concert at the mall's amphitheatre at the Sky Park on the third floor. The guest of honour of the event was chairman of Temasek Holdings and former cabinet minister S Dhanabalan. During its first month of opening, it attracted 4.2 million visitors, equivalent to the population of Singapore, and attracted 7.28 million visitors in total before the grand opening. The String Theory concert included a giant harp with strings stretching to the third floor of the mall.

Vivo city has Facilities which no other shopping mall in Singapore has. The design is so unique that even though the mall may be congested with people. They are always space for people to work. One of the main features which attract most tourist or local people is the Sky Walk. The Sky Walk has has an amphitheatre and also a very popular place to see sentosa. There is also the shallow pool on the third floor is where many children play at besides the playground downstairs. Some hold picnics beside the pool while their children are wading in the shallow pool. The mall has Singapore's largest cinema multiplex with 15 screens and 2,293 seats by the cinematic company Golden Village, along with one of the largest cinema screens in Asia. As a result of the cinema more tourist and local people were attracted to vivo city.

Other features include a Planet Fitness gym, spas, restaurants and dance clubs. A TANGS store is located in the building on the first and second floor, which it is the only branch other than its flagship Orchard Road store. The store will sell a number of merchandise that cannot be found at its Orchard Road store. The mall also has the first Gap store in Southeast Asia. There Companies such as Toys "R" Us and Dairy Farm have their flagship outlets in Vivo City. Dairy Farm, which owns Cold Storage, Shop N Save, Giant Hypermarket, 7-Eleven and Guardian Health & Beauty takes up 3,700 square metres of space on Basement 2 and about 7,400 square metres on Level 1. The new hyper mart, called Vivo Mart, is connected by its own revelatory and sells gourmet food from all over the world, including the United States, Germany, Japan and Australia. The hypermarket has a Giant in basement two and level one with a Naturally Marketplace by Cold Storage on level one as well as a Guardian pharmacy on the first floor. Naturally Marketplace sells organic products and gourmet food. There are two giant food courts — a 2,200 square metre Kopitiam Group facility in Basement 2 and another spread over 2,500 square metres run by the Bread Talk Group, which is a Food Republic food court in similar concept at its sister food court at Wismar Atria.

Besides all this features the main reason tourist come to vivo is because of its well linkages. There is a Link way at basement 2 that connects to Harbour Front MRT Station and the Seah Im Hawker Centre across Telok Blangah Road. Two air-conditioned bridges on level 2 (lined with shops) connecting to Harbour Front Centre. An outdoor pedestrian bridge on level 2 (near the Golden Village Cinema) linking to St James Power Station The Sentosa Express terminal station on level 3 connecting to Sentosa Island. Tourist loves to shop at places where there is accessibility. The reason why Singaporeans love Vivo city is due to the fact that they don't to travel overseas for certain things anymore. And also this is a place where they can unwind their stress and have fun with their family and friends.
