An unforgetful (?) accident

It was a bright sunny sunday morning.I woke up and ate my breakfast as normal. My parents and I had decided to go to the East Coast Parks in that day. I wore a colourful spiderman shirt and a long tore jeans. My mother had prepared the lunch for the pinic the day before.We went to the East Coast by my father's car.My brother,Desmond, and I were playing catching together.It was so boring on that day as my brother cannot catch me so we decided to fly kite. Both of us loves to fly kite a lot as we had the same genes from our father (?).Our kite fly high in the sky and we were very happy about it.Suddenly, a strong wind blew our kite down to the sea and we lost control of it.My brother and I were anxious to get back our kite so we ran nearly in the speed of light without a second of thought. We jumped to the sea and hoping to get back our kite.But,both of us forgot that we do not know how to swim.My father noticed that we both jumped to the sea so he ran very quickly and jumped to the sea (So all 3 jumped into the sea? Your father saw both of you jump so he jumped too? Would be clearer if you said that he saw the both of you struggling in the water...or something to that extent.) .He saved me up to the shore first as I am the most precious child with the cute and innocent face (pleeease ... you write like that and you're dead). After saving me,he immediately jumped to the sea again in order to save Desmond.My father carried my brother out after two minutes of swimming as Desmond was floating very far away from the sea. He tried to rescue him but it was too late.By the time, my brother was sent to the nearby hospital, his heart stopped bumping (huh?).I was guilty as my father saved me first or else the person who will be dead is me.I was very sad and I cried three days until my mother comfort me with her wide arms.

Comments :

You started quite well but unfortunately lapsed into many grammatical and structural errors. If this is a serious incident, try not to be funny/humourous. That is inappropriate. Think about how you want to construct your sentences as many of the sentences above make a mockery out of your 4 years of learning EL here.

Two paragraph

The drizzling of the cool night rain had stopped, and in the calm silence of the after-rain, the deep croaking of the bulllfrogs rose and ebbed, like a baby's quiet sobbing.Dawan shivered slightly on her thin rattan mat and opened her eyes.

It was still dark,but in the wet moonlight outside the window she could see the shimmer of raindrops on smooth banana leaves.Propping herself up on her elbow, she looked around her. The sleeping shapes of her family, lying in mosquito nets, were still and peaceful.Nobody seemed awake, not even Kwai,her brother.The whispery gossip of the leaves outside surrounded them, snug inside the little thatched hut.

Running away

Introduction: Standing in front of the discipline master, suddenly, several pictures went into my mind

Para 1

- Description of how I and my friends planned to run away from school during remedial time so that we could watch the last episode of pokemon.

- Description of our past experiences of running away from school to play our favorite computer games.

- Too arrogant because of our successful experiences

- Although my hands were still pained but I began to realize that my actions were childish, selfish and stupid.

"Chee Kit!! Chee Kit! Can you please wake up!!?” My mother said in a very sad tone. I opened my eyes and saw my family with a very blurred vision. I keep thinking why I ended up in a hospital. Finally, some broken pieces of thought came into my mind. I remembered that an unknown guy beat me up in East Coast Park. After the doctor examined me, two policemen came into my ward. They told me what had happened and trying to make me recall what had happened so that I could provide some information to sue the unknown guy. After the policemen told me, my mind had become clearer and clearer.

I recalled that it was at the 21/7/07 .I met up with some of my best friends in the sunny afternoon and we went together to East Coast Park. It was Desmond's birthday party and we went there to celebrate his birthday. We brought our gift along and it was a comic series as we knew that Desmond loves to see comics. We went there by Mass Rapid Transport and I noticed a man was peeping on us secretly but I thought it was only my illusion so I did not cared so much.

We went to there very early so that we can help Desmond to manage his birthday party. We had volunteered to help him to set up the barbecue pit so that he would had less jobs to do at that day. While we are setting up the barbecue pit for Desmond, I noticed the man that peeped at us just now. I did not care very much as I thought he was also Desmond’s friend.

At the evening, I went to the toilet and the man tailed me. When I went into the cabinet of the toilet, he pushed me inside and prevented me to close the door so that he could come in. He closed the door, took out the penknife inside his pocket and threatened me to one corner of the cabinet.

He spoke to me in Cantonese, a dialect that I did not know how to spoke but know the meaning of the speech when someone spoke to me. I listened to him and found out that the mistaken identity of “I”, Peter, had cheated him US$100,000 Furthermore, his company wind up because of this and his wife leaved him as he was now broke.

I told him in Chinese but he said that he only can speak in Cantonese. Horror struck my heart, my limbs gradually lost their strength as I had no idea to tell him, I am not Peter. Suddenly, an idea struck me, I could show him my Identification Card and clear the misunderstanding. So I putted my hand in my pocket but he pushed the pen knife nearer and told me to put out my hand.

As the sweat trickled down the side of my face, adrenaline pumping through my arteries, in a blink of eye, my hand took out of my pocket and gave him a punch on his face. I cannot keep myself cool and have to resort to violence and gave him another punch to his hand. He dropped his knife.

I ran towards the door and opened the door. Suddenly a forceful grip grabbed my shoulder. I was pinned down by his massive force, I tried to free back however it was to no avail. I trembled with fear, knowing that I was in a hot soup. I shouted for help so that my friend could save me. But, it was too late, the angry person punched me several times in order to relieve his anger before my friends reached the toilet.

The police showed the photo of Peter and his information and found out that he was looked exactly the same as me. “It was my entire fault,” my father said with an audible sign. My father own up that he paid a prostitute some money at that time. He used the body of the prostitute. He is a scientist fifteen years ago and he took my skin cell when I was still in baby. He putted my skin cell and some other chemicals into the uterus of the prostitute with the hope of making a clone.

However, at that time, the Police was checking up on him as they had some tip-offs from other people. Thus, my father sent the prostitute to Malaysia to avoid the Police to find any evidence. After that, my father had lost contact with the prostitute. “If I am not wrong, it should be the clone of my son”, my father said.

After some investigation, my father and the man was arrested and put in jail for 5 years. Peter was also caught by the police and was put in jail for 3 year as he cheated the man money. After some thoughts, I think that this incident may be the retribution of my father’s doing. Now, I do not dare to do any wrong thing as I believe in retribution after that incident.
